Myntra Photoshoot for Footwear and Clothing, No Studio

Myntra listings rely on a consistent set of views for every style. You can make that set from phone photos: shoot the real product on a plain background, use Catalog Pro for AI model or white-background images, and keep the same angles and crop across your whole range.

See current photo-pack prices. Use your own product photos as references.

Myntra footwear photoshoot: the shot list

For shoes, sandals and sliders, the views matter more than the background. Shoot every style in the same order, with the same shoe (left or right) and the same distance, so the listing pages look uniform when buyers scroll.

  • Side profile: the outer side, toe pointing left. Usually the first image.
  • Three-quarter: shows toe shape and depth.
  • Top-down: shows the opening, laces and width.
  • Heel and back: heel height and pull tab.
  • Sole: the real outsole and tread. Take this photo yourself; do not generate it.
  • Detail: stitching, texture, buckle or logo.
  • On foot: optional, for heels and sandals where the fit on the foot matters.

Clothing on a model, including men's wear

For western wear, use one model look, one background and the same pose order for the whole collection: front, three-quarter, side, back, then a close-up. Men's T-shirts, shirts and hoodies need the collar, cuffs and fit visible, so avoid poses with hands in pockets or crossed arms.

For ethnic wear such as lehengas and kurta sets, show the drape and the dupatta in one image, the back of the blouse or kurta in another, and a real close-up of the embroidery.

Photographer or studio vs AI photos: when to book a real shoot

AI model photos are a practical start when you have many styles in simple fabrics, when you want a matching model look across a collection, or when you need images for a few styles before a full shoot.

A studio or fashion photographer is the better choice for premium footwear with fine leather texture, metallic or sequinned clothing, garments where exact fit is the selling point, and campaign images. A studio can also follow a brief closely, which helps if your category guidelines are strict about model styling.

Prices vary by city, the number of styles, models, styling and retouching, so ask for quotes on the same brief and compare a studio quote with a home setup and AI per usable photo.

Myntra image requirements: check your category guidelines

Myntra publishes image guidance for partners on its Seller University image guidelines page, with category-specific guideline files and separate makeup and hair guidelines for model photoshoots. Rules differ between footwear, apparel and other categories, so check your category guidelines and partner panel before choosing dimensions, image order or model styling.

Catalog Pro is an independent photo tool. It is not affiliated with Myntra and does not approve listings.

Questions sellers ask

How many photos does a Myntra footwear listing need?

Check your category guidelines for the current count. As a working shot list: side, three-quarter, top, heel, sole and one detail photo.

Can AI make a Myntra photoshoot for clothing?

It can make model images from your phone photos. Compare each one with the garment, keep real close-ups, and follow your partner guidelines on model styling.

Should the sole photo be AI-generated?

No. Photograph the real sole. A generated tread pattern may not match the shoe you ship.

Does Catalog Pro work for men's clothing?

Yes. You can choose a male model for T-shirts, shirts and hoodies. Check collar, cuffs and print placement in every result.

Start with one style

  1. Photograph one shoe or garment from every view in your shot list.
  2. Open Catalog Pro on the web or the Android app and choose clothing on a model or product photos.
  3. Pick the model, pose and background options you need, then generate.
  4. Compare every result with the real item: colour, print, stitching, logos and parts. Download only the ones that match.
